
Administrative Aide
The Administrative Aide will be responsible for supporting the Anchorage office manager with general office duties and administrative responsibilities such as checking patients in and out, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining and organizing patients electronic health records, scanning documents into electronic records, confirming appointment times, scheduling and conducting meetings with therapists as needed to problem solve schedule concerns and or confirm openings, and maintaining clinic supplies organized and stocked. Some light shopping may occasionally be required, having your own transportation is required. Additionally, there is opportunity for organization of social media presence if this is an area of interest or skill.
This position is intended to be half administrative and half a supporting therapy Aide without patient care. Therapy Aide responsibilities are turning over rooms after patient use, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and tables used, preparing sessions as needed such as specific materials, food for feeding sessions, etc. light cleaning as needed to keep the clinic looking presentable throughout the day. Additionally being comfortable around small children and babies is a must as on occasion interacting with or supervising a patient if a therapist has to step away for a moment can be needed.
This is a great position for someone interested in becoming our administrative assistant lead in the fall in our Eagle River office, or for somone who plans to pursue further education in the health care industry. The position requires organization skills, attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Hours fall between the hours of M-F 8-6:00 25-40 hour a week position as desired.
