𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵? Do you absolutely love being around kids, whether you’re bouncing around with 3-year-olds or cracking jokes with teens? 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘆: $18–$24 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Summary 

The Summer Fitness Youth Development Professional (YDP) is responsible for creating an experience for youth that facilitates fun, innovation, inclusivity, and creativity with an emphasis on healthy lifestyles, good character and leadership, and academic success, with an emphasis on fitness and wellness. This position must be invested in youth and have a desire to be a positive role model. YDPs must understand that Boys & Girls Club staff have the opportunity to be with the same youth for a number of years and respect the responsibility that comes with the potential for making a positive impact on so many lives. 

The YDP will work with Lead Youth Development Professionals, volunteers, and other staff to follow policy and procedures that promote the safety of members, ensuring high quality of programs all while projecting a positive image of Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.
