Licensed Mental Health Counselor
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, experienced in providing therapy to diverse populations, and skilled in implementing therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies when necessary.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in clinical counseling or social work is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices is essential.
- Skills in crisis intervention and patient assessment are critical for success in this role.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
- Experience with diverse populations and various therapeutic modalities.
Required
