Occupational Therapist: Full-Time (Part-Time considered)

MMG Speech & Therapeutic Services, LLC is an established, therapist owned and ran pediatric clinic, in Lakewood, WA. We are seeking a motivated, fun and flexible OT with pediatric experience, to add to our amazing team.

The clinic is looking someone who can bring the unique perspective that only an OT mind has. We understand the importance and benefits that occupational services provide. We are dedicated to serving the local area and you will be collaborating with a team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. This environment provides the ability for you to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, in the clinic, and schools/doctors and other allied professions in the community to best serve the whole client.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy services for clients and families.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, from an accredited university
  • Must hold a current Washington State Occupational Therapy license
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

The position will paid at a competitive rate. Hours are extremely flexible with a predetermined schedule. We can create a work schedule that best fits your life.

Desired Characteristics

  • One year experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with persons with Autism or other complex developmental challenges
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to relate to clients, parents and staff
  • Professional, positive and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to organize time to accomplish goals
