First Year Student Success Advisor
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and executing comprehensive New Student Orientation programs for incoming students. The First Year Student Success Advisor guides North Idaho College’s new students through their entire first year.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent related experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct effective training and presentations
• Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic skills using student records system (Colleague preferred)
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and proof of degree if required for this position.
This temporary position is funded through June 27, 2025 and is likely to continue based on the needs of the department and college.
