Volleyball Coach (Head & Assistant)
Volleyball Coach (Head & Assistant) – Union Volleyball Academy, Hayward
Location: Hayward, California (also Dublin and Fremont)
Work Model: On-site Employment Type: Part-Time (~30 hours/month)
What you'll do
- Lead or assist team practices and coach at tournaments during the club season
- Teach fundamentals, game strategy and team culture in a positive, supportive way
- Work with the coaching staff on player development and practice plans
- Communicate with players and families about schedules and progress
- Help with clinics, tryouts and camps as available
What we're looking for
- Playing or coaching experience at the high school, college or club level
- Strong knowledge of volleyball skills and systems
- Reliable, organized and great with kids and teens
- Available weekday evenings for practice and some weekends for tournaments
- Willing to complete USA Volleyball/NCVA membership, background screening and SafeSport training (all required)
Nice to have
- Previous club coaching experience
- Experience with a specific position (setting, hitting, defense)
- Bilingual
