Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Kansas City, Kansas. This is a full-time contract opportunity for professionals passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist license/certification through the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE).
- Eligibility for or possession of a Kansas credential authorizing service as a School Psychologist in public schools.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.
