Placement Coordinator

Placement Coordinator (Part-time) The Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of individual and provider (caregiver) matching within the Shared Living Program and overseeing a Respite Program. This role includes recruiting and matching shared living and respite providers to the profiles of individuals seeking services ,ensuring successful placements that align with the needs, preferences, and goals of all parties. 

The Placement Coordinator develops and nurtures relationships with stakeholders and ensures program compliance with Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations.

 Experience/Education • Bachelor’s degree in human service-related field or 2 years of demonstrated ability working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities • Experience with provider (caregiver) recruitment and matching • Previous experience working with families of adults with developmental disabilities • Knowledge of benefits (SSI, MassHealth, etc.) preferred • Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. • Participative management style. • Superior oral and written communication skills
