We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, motivated clinician who wants more than just another therapy job. This is an opportunity to step into an established treatment program with consistent client attendance, flexible scheduling, specialized clinical experience, and support for professional growth. Our Pocatello office serves adult clients participating in specialized sex offender treatment. Clinicians have the opportunity to develop valuable forensic and justice-involved treatment skills while helping clients make measurable, meaningful changes in their lives.

For more than 25 years, H&H Treatment Programs has provided structured, individualized treatment centered on accountability, community safety, risk reduction, healthier decision-making, and lasting behavioral change.

Why You’ll Want to Work Here We understand that talented clinicians have choices. At H&H, we want this position to work for you, too. You will be joining an established program where you can focus on meaningful clinical work without having to build a caseload from scratch.

What This Position Offers

 • Very competitive pay – options available

 • Flexible hours and scheduling

 • Consistent client attendance

 • Established client base and dependable caseload • Immediate opportunity to begin building your schedule

 • H&H support and sponsorship toward Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) credentialing

 • Opportunity to develop a specialized and highly valuable clinical skill set

 • Experience in forensic and justice-involved behavioral health

 • Individual and group counseling opportunities • Collaboration with probation/parole and other professionals • Professional development and growth opportunities

 • Meaningful work that contributes directly to client progress and community safety For clinicians interested in expanding beyond traditional outpatient therapy, this position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in a specialized area of behavioral health while being supported by an organization with decades of experience.

What You’ll Do As an H&H therapist, you will work directly with adult clients to help them understand risk factors, challenge problematic patterns, strengthen healthier behaviors, and build the skills necessary for long-term success.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide individual and group counseling

 • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

 • Address dynamic, stable, and acute risk factors

 • Facilitate treatment focused on accountability, healthy sexuality, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping skills, relationships, and behavioral change

 • Help clients recognize problematic thinking patterns, triggers, grooming behaviors, and individual risk factors

 • Support clients in developing healthier decision-making, prosocial relationships, stronger coping skills, and sustainable non-offending lifestyles

 • Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions based on clinical needs and demonstrated progress

 • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes • Participate in treatment-team collaboration and case reviews

 • Coordinate professionally with probation/parole and other referral sources

 • Work with approved family members and support systems when clinically appropriate

 • Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical treatment standards H&H’s treatment model includes individual and group treatment, risk-factor treatment and monitoring, healthy-sexuality and relapse-prevention work, accountability, community reintegration, maintenance services, chaperone training, and coordination with probation and parole.

A Specialized Career Opportunity

This position is particularly well suited for a therapist who wants to develop a clinical specialty rather than remain in a generalist role. Treatment at H&H is individualized. Clinicians work with clients over time and have the opportunity to see progress as clients improve accountability, decision-making, coping skills, relationships, stability, and risk management. Clinicians should be comfortable helping clients work through structured treatment assignments and curriculum. Familiarity with The Road to Freedom workbook/curriculum is preferred, but prior specialization in sex offender treatment is not required for the right candidate.

If you are clinically strong, willing to learn, and interested in developing this area of expertise, we want to hear from you.

Not Yet SOMB Credentialed? Apply Anyway. H&H Will Help You Get There. You do not need to come to H&H already credentialed with the Sex Offender Management Board. For qualified clinicians, H&H will assist with and sponsor the process of pursuing SOMB credentialing.

That means you can gain specialized experience while receiving support from an established organization instead of trying to navigate the process on your own. For a clinician looking to broaden their experience, strengthen their resume, and build expertise in forensic behavioral health, this is an opportunity to develop a distinctive professional specialty with long-term value.

Qualifications

 • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral-health field

 • Current Idaho clinical license or eligibility for Idaho licensure preferred

 • Strong individual and group counseling skills • Excellent communication, documentation, organization, and interpersonal skills

 • Comfortable working with justice-involved clients and discussing sensitive subject matter professionally

 • Experience in forensic behavioral health, corrections, probation/parole populations, sexual-behavior treatment, or related clinical work is beneficial, but specialized experience is not required for the right clinician

 • Familiarity with The Road to Freedom curriculum preferred

 • Comfortable using computers, electronic documentation systems, email, telehealth platforms, and other technology used in day-to-day clinical practice

 • Willingness to learn H&H’s treatment model, program requirements, and documentation systems

 • Commitment to confidentiality, professional boundaries, ethical practice, accountability, and community safety

Why H&H?

At H&H, we believe meaningful treatment requires both accountability and the opportunity to change. Our clinicians are able to build therapeutic relationships with clients over time, help clients address challenging behavioral patterns, and see the progress that comes from consistent treatment and sustained clinical work. You will have the opportunity to work in a field where your clinical skills can have an impact not only on an individual client, but also on families, relationships, supervision success, and community safety. If you are looking for flexibility, competitive compensation, consistent client attendance, professional growth, and the opportunity to develop a valuable specialty, this position deserves your attention.

We Are Hiring Now

If you have been looking for a position where you can grow professionally, build specialized expertise, maintain a flexible schedule, and do work that truly matters, we encourage you to apply. You do not need to have every specialized credential before walking through the door. Bring your clinical skills, professionalism, and willingness to learn. We’ll help you build from there.
