Position
We are looking for reliable, experienced K–12 Math Tutors to join our team. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling.
We strongly prefer tutors who:
- Have daily availability Monday–Sunday
- Can be flexible with scheduling and accommodate occasional last-minute session requests
- Are reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Communicate promptly and professionally with students and Swoop Tutors staff
- Are willing to work with a student throughout the full school calendar year
- Are available to tutor students multiple times per week
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one virtual math tutoring
- Support students in elementary, middle, and high school math
- Adjust instruction based on each student's needs and learning style
- Track and communicate student progress
- Maintain consistent attendance and communication
- Be responsive to scheduling changes and additional session opportunities
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of K–12 math tutoring experience preferred
- Strong understanding of elementary through high school math
- Experience with AP Math and/or Calculus is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable internet and a quiet space for virtual sessions
- Ability to build a consistent, long-term relationship with students
