On-Site Clinical Supervisor – Clove Counseling PLLC

Clove Counseling PLLC is a growing private practice serving individuals, couples, and families in the Fox Valley area. We are looking for an experienced, warm, and collaborative Clinical Supervisor to join our team and provide on-site clinical leadership and supervision to our growing group of therapists.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys supporting other therapists, developing clinical talent, and contributing to a healthy practice culture—not simply checking supervision boxes.

At Clove, we believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, challenged, and connected to the team. We are looking for someone who can help us continue building that environment.

Position Overview

The On-Site Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision, consultation, and support to Clove clinicians while helping maintain high standards of clinical care, documentation, ethics, and professionalism.

The supervisor will work closely with the practice owner/director and clinical team to support clinicians in developing their skills, navigating challenging cases, and growing into confident, effective therapists.

This is an on-site role in our Aurora office and is best suited for someone who enjoys being part of a team and having a visible presence within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to pre-licensed and developing clinicians
  • Provide ongoing case consultation and clinical support
  • Review clinical documentation and provide constructive feedback when needed
  • Support clinicians with treatment planning, diagnosis, assessment, and clinical decision-making
  • Assist clinicians in navigating complex or higher-acuity cases
  • Help clinicians identify when additional resources, consultation, or referral may be appropriate
  • Support ethical and professional standards of care
  • Provide guidance related to boundaries, crisis situations, mandated reporting, and other clinical concerns
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical discussions
  • Help foster a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented clinical culture
  • Assist newer clinicians with developing confidence and their own clinical voice
  • Collaborate with the practice owner regarding clinician development and clinical needs
  • Support quality improvement within the practice
  • Serve as a clinical resource when clinicians need consultation between sessions

  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback
  • Able to balance support with appropriate clinical accountability
  • Organized and responsive
