Adult Outpatient Therapist- Lombard

Salary $51,075.00 - $69,940.00 Annually

If you enjoy working in a team atmosphere, collaborating across multiple programs and organizations and being a part of an evolving and dynamic organization, then this job is for you! We are looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist, primarily providing outpatient care for the adult population.  

Our Adult Outpatient program provides treatment to individuals with serious mental illness through individual & group counseling, community support, as well as psychiatric treatment. Our program is part of a larger behavioral health program that includes crisis services, adult intensive services/residential services, forensic behavioral health and substance use treatment.

This position is located at our East Public Health Center, in Lombard, IL. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30pm; Tuesday 10:30am to 7:00 pm

 Master's degree & license (LSW, LPC): $51,075 to $65,000 

 Clinical License (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT): $59,240 to $69,940 

 

  • Utilizes evidence-based practices to provide outpatient psychotherapeutic and counseling to individuals and groups 
  • Manages client caseload and maintains regular contact with clients 
  • Provides diagnostic assessments, and develops treatment plans to determine the frequency, duration, and intensity of treatment 
  • Provides referrals to community resources and monitors service delivery across providers in order to promote successful whole health treatment outcomes 
  • Maintains accurate and compliant documentation and clinical records 
  • Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification and confidentiality of privileged information at the same time adhering to client privacy laws 
  • Participates in emergency response activities as assigned 

 

Completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field and two years of experience with chronically mentally ill population; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.? The candidate will have good knowledge of community resources and the ability to work collaboratively with service providers. This position requires an LCSW or LCPC or be eligible to test for clinical licensure. 

Attendance at paid HR new hire orientation, in Wheaton, is required. Bilingual Spanish speaking candidate is strongly preferred
