(1721) Access Clinician, LPHA

In support of our mission to continuously improve the health and independence of the individuals we serve, the Access Clinician plays a vital role under the supervision of the Director of Access and will join an elite team of clinicians. The Access Clinician is the first point of contact for individuals seeking access to care at Bluebonnet Trails Community Services This position provides information regarding the services available, a diagnostic interview, standard assessments, an eligibility assessment, and person-centered recovery planning

The Access Clinician conducts routine psychosocial and emotional needs assessments, risk assessments, and develops Person-Centered Recovery Plans. The role requires the skill of efficient, detailed, and accurate electronic documentation, as well as strict adherence to agency and state guidelines.

Successful Access Clinicians demonstrate a strong commitment to working with individuals who have chronic and severe mental health conditions.

Effective performance in this role requires innovative thinking, patience, resilience, and the ability to manage time effectively. The Access Clinician must be skilled in mental health assessment and evaluation, diagnostics, person-centered recovery planning, clinical documentation, and dual-diagnosis treatment.

In addition to working both independently and collaboratively, the Access Clinician must be able to prioritize needs, participate in regular meetings and training opportunities, and perform all assigned duties with a positive and professional attitude.

Location: Fully remote in the BTCS service area.

Hourly Salary Range: $31.80 - $38.05

Differential Detail:

• $1.00 per hour - 2 year previous experience
• Up to $4.00 per hour - BTCS Tenure
• $0.75 per hour - Bilingual
• $0.50 per hour - LCDC

Minimum Qualifications: 
A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university and licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

OR

A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field and licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Must have a valid Texas Driver's License, meet Bluebonnet Trails Community Services driving requirements, and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications: 
Bilingual Preferred.
Two years working with and/or diagnosing individuals with severe mental illness. 
Experience working across the lifespan. 
Experience working with individuals, groups and families preferred.
