The Behavior Place is growing and is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our King George team.

Our BCBAs provide clinical leadership and oversight while delivering individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and related developmental needs. This position works collaboratively with clinical leadership, RBTs, paraprofessionals, clients, and families to support high quality services and meaningful client progress.

The position includes both clinical responsibilities and opportunities to mentor and support members of the clinical team.

What You'll Do

• Develop, support, and oversee individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans

• Conduct assessments and use clinical data to guide treatment recommendations and programming

• Monitor client progress and make appropriate adjustments to individualized programs

• Provide direct and indirect consultation to clients and families

• Provide parent and caregiver training using strategies such as modeling, coaching, and role play

• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and paraprofessionals assigned to your caseload

• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, training, and competency development to clinical staff

• Monitor implementation of treatment plans and provide feedback and coaching to support quality service delivery

• Review clinical documentation and provide coaching to improve documentation quality

• Support compliance with the BACB Ethics Code, payer requirements, company policies, and applicable state regulations

• Maintain timely and accurate treatment plans, assessments, signatures, clinical documentation, and other required records

• Communicate with families regarding routine clinical questions, scheduling concerns, cancellations, and client needs

• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director regarding client care, staffing needs, employee coaching, and clinical concerns

• Support day to day clinical problem solving and clinic operations as needed

• Assist with preparation of client materials, assessments, programming materials, and clinical resources

• Support direct client care and fulfill RBT responsibilities within the clinic when needed

Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

• Current Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure

• Master's degree or higher in a related field

• Minimum of two years of ABA clinical experience preferred

• Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and analyzing clinical data

• Experience developing and implementing individualized programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

• Experience supervising and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians

• Demonstrated clinical leadership, mentorship, and problem solving skills

• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to maintain assigned client responsibilities while mentoring and supporting clinical staff

• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and onboarding requirements

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with providing ABA services, including standing, walking, sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.

Candidates must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility, activities of daily living, and behavior intervention strategies as trained.

The position may involve working with clients who engage in challenging or physically aggressive behaviors. Employees must be able to respond safely and appropriately in accordance with company training and safety procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary of $90,000 to $105,000

• $1,000 sign on bonus for full time BCBAs
