Support Specialist (Family, Parent, Youth)

Job Description:

Family Support Specialist will provide social, behavioral, life, and coping skills for children. teens and adults within the home and community.

Parent Support Specialist will mentor parents and teach parenting skills.

Youth Support Specialist will work with children and teens to help with skill-building.

Education Requirements: 

• Support Specialists - Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS in a Social Services or Education field (Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice).

Position Requirements for Support Specialists:

• Applicant must have their own vehicle to use for work purposes.
• Since clients are seen in the home and community, applicant must be willing to travel throughout the county or surrounding counties they reside in.
• Applicant must be willing to work after school hours and some evenings and weekends.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual is a plus.
