Wonderment Therapies is seeking a clinical psychologist to expand access to pediatric diagnostic and mental health services for families in western North Dakota. You’ll join a collaborative team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and ABA professionals, helping families understand their child’s needs and take clear next steps.
What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents, including developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
- Assess for conditions such as autism and ADHD within your training and scope of practice.
- Select and administer appropriate assessment tools, integrate findings, and write clear, timely reports.
- Meet with families to explain results and provide practical recommendations.
- Collaborate with caregivers, referring providers, schools, and Wonderment’s therapy team, with appropriate consent.
- Provide therapy and parent guidance if those services are part of the agreed role.
What we’re looking for
- A doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a closely related psychology specialty.
- Active North Dakota psychologist licensure, or eligibility to obtain it.
- Training and experience in pediatric assessment and differential diagnosis.
- A compassionate, family-centered approach and strong report-writing skills.
Experience with autism diagnostic assessment is especially valuable. We welcome candidates interested in helping build a diagnostic service that brings care closer to rural families.
