PART-TIME YOUTH SPECIALIST JUVENILE DETENTION 

 

DEPARTMENT:                              Elkhart County Judiciary-Court Services

 

HIRING RANGE:                             Morning Shift-$23.23/hour; Evening/Midnight Shift-$24.23/hour

 

BENEFITS OFFERED:                  No Benefits Offered

 

POSITION TO BE FILLED:           ASAP                                                            

 

HOURS & DAYS OF WORK:        29 hours/week (Day, Evening, & Midnight Shifts available)

 

LOCATION OF POSITION:           Elkhart County Correctional Complex 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:         Within County (please complete driving page on application)

 

 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center is seeking qualified candidates to join their dynamic team; Responsibilities will include assisting Juvenile Detention staff with the safety, security, care and supervision of juvenile residents at the Detention Center.

 

 

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work positively as a team member
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation                                                           
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check
