Winter Tubing & Alpine Learning Hill Attendant

Job Summary: The Loppet is seeking part-time Tubing & Alpine Hill Attendants for the 2026/27 winter season at The Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Park. Hill attendants work as a team to create a welcoming and safe environment for guests using the Tubing and Alpine Hills behind the trailhead.

 

Tubing & Alpine Attendants are responsible for the following: 

  • Work as a team to maintain a safe, fun environment on the Tubing/Alpine hill for all guests
  • Manage operations of the rope tows on both hills
  • Work with Trailhead staff to distribute tubes to pass purchasers
  • Communicate hill maintenance/grooming needs to the Trails team

 

Required Knowledge and Abilities:  

  • Must be at least 16 years old 
  • Willingness to work outside during the winter in cold conditions for extended periods
  • Enthusiasm for providing top-notch experiences to a wide audience of hill users

 

The Tubing & Alpine Hill Attendant reports to the Trailhead Customer Service Manager who reports to the Trails & Trailhead Director. Hourly wages range from $16.37 - $17 per hour, depending on demonstrable experience.
