Richmond Nutrition Education Community Ambassador

Fresh Approach is seeking Richmond residents ages 18–25 to join our Nutrition Education Community Ambassador Leadership and Workforce Development Program. This part-time, hybrid position provides hands-on experience in nutrition education, food access, community outreach, and local food systems. Ambassadors will receive professional development and nutrition certifications while supporting VeggieRx nutrition classes, cooking demonstrations, farmers’ markets, and community outreach. The role is 8 hours/week for 9 months at $22/hour, with opportunities to build skills in public health, nutrition, customer service, and community engagement. Richmond residency and reliable transportation within Richmond are required.
