College Admissions Advisor

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES CURRENTLY BASED IN THE MENA REGION ONLY.

The Role

We're looking for a full-time college admissions advisor to take full ownership of a roster of students' college application journeys — from early profile-building through final submission. This is a high-stakes, high-trust role: you're the person a family relies on to keep everything on track and get the details right, often under real pressure and tight deadlines. It demands someone who is exceptionally organized, resourceful, and calm under pressure, not just knowledgeable about admissions.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end college application journey for your students, acting as their main point of contact throughout
  • Help students build a strong, coherent profile — identifying and developing genuine areas of strength
  • Recommend programs, majors, and extracurricular activities that fit each student's goals and profile
  • Manage each student's timeline closely, tracking every deadline and deliverable across multiple students at once without anything slipping
  • Run sessions directly with parents as well as students, including delivering difficult feedback or managing high-pressure conversations when needed
  • Produce and issue polished deliverables (college lists, timelines, essay feedback, progress updates) to a consistently high standard
  • Independently research programs, schools, and admissions requirements as needed — you won't always be handed the answer and need to be resourceful enough to find it

What We're Looking For

Most important:

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented — genuinely Type A, able to manage many moving parts across multiple students without dropping anything
  • Resourceful — comfortable digging up information independently rather than waiting to be told
  • Able to handle high-stakes, high-pressure situations calmly, including tense parent or student conversations
  • Experience managing relationships with parents and/or students (teaching, counseling, tutoring, coaching, or similar)
  • Excellent English, written and verbal — this is non-negotiable

Preferred but not required:

  • Prior experience in college admissions counseling or advising

Logistics

  • Full-time
  • Remote/hybrid; based in MENA
  • Compensation details to confirm with hiring manager
