About Us

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra, we have been serving youth and families in North Orange County for over 70 years . We provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids ages 4-18 can build academic skills, character, and leadership . We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate about storytelling, and ready to help us share our mission with the community.

The Role

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to capture and tell the story of our Club . You will be the voice behind our digital presence, creating content that builds community awareness, engages families, and supports fundraising efforts. This is a hybrid role, so you will work remotely most days, with occasional visits to our La Habra locations to capture content and attend team meetings. You will help us show the community the incredible impact we make every day.

What You'll Do

Capture daily club activities through photography and video to highlight youth impact and build community awareness

Manage weekly content calendars across social media platforms

Draft engaging captions and posts that reflect our mission and values

Engage with our online community by answering parent questions and moderating comments

Build digital campaigns to support local fundraising events and initiatives

Track monthly performance analytics to measure engagement and growth

Enforce youth safety and photo privacy guidelines in all content

Collaborate with the development and marketing team to align messaging

Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices
