Head Swim Coach

JOB SUMMARY

The Edmund Burke School seeks an energetic, creative, and organized individual who loves working with young people to serve as Head coach for our High School swim program beginning in November 2026 and ending in February 2027. This position will be part-time and require an open mid-late afternoon and evening schedule and a possible early morning schedule. The individual would be needed 4-5 days a week (usually weekdays). The ideal candidate will have experience in swimming and or coaching the sport and be committed to professional development. Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, constructing a safe and welcoming environment that allows student-athletes to learn, develop, and excel. In addition, the candidate will be committed to teaching and emphasizing life lessons outside of just the sport. The candidate must communicate effectively with both children and adults and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The Candidate would be responsible for the development of the Middle School and High School programs.   All candidates must be certified or be able to obtain certification in CPR. Experience operating Hy-TEK is strongly preferred. 

Salary Range: $4,000.00 per year (stipend)
