Freedom 1st Medical Transport provides non-emergency medical transportation throughout Easley, SC and the surrounding Upstate area. We're hiring now for full-time EMTs, and we love bringing on new graduates who are ready to start their career.
We offer a $750 sign-on bonus after 90 days, a typical 4-day work week (some Saturdays required), and paid training to help you get comfortable in the field. Pay & Benefits
$19.00+/hr and up based on experience. $750 Sign-on bonus after 90 days. PTO, flexible scheduling, paid training, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance.
Schedule
Full-time, 8 to 12 hour shifts. Opening and early shifts available. Most days wrap up between 5 and 6 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessment, treatment, and transportation for ill and injured patients in a courteous, professional manner
- Perform basic life support skills
- Keep the ambulance and equipment clean and in good operating condition
- Complete patient reports, service bills, and other required paperwork
- Attend regular in-service training, or provide documentation of DHEC-approved training completed elsewhere
- Help keep the base clean and orderly
- Follow all Freedom 1st policies, including appearance, grooming, and uniform standards
- Comply with all corporate compliance requirements
Requirements
- Current South Carolina EMT-Basic certification or higher, maintained at all times
- Valid driver's license issued by your state of residence
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the job
