🧘 Bring Mindful Movement to Life

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Yoga & Mindful Movement Instructor to introduce young children to movement, breathing, mindfulness, and body awareness through fun, playful, and age-appropriate activities.

You’ll lead students through simple yoga poses, movement games, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities designed to help them develop coordination, balance, focus, body awareness, and confidence.

You don't need to be a professional yoga instructor or experienced classroom teacher. If you have a foundation in yoga, movement, fitness, dance, or mindfulness and enjoy working with young children, you may be a great fit.

Curriculum guidance and instructional materials are provided, giving you the support you need while allowing you to bring your own personality and creativity to each session.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead fun, engaging yoga and mindful movement sessions for young children
  • Introduce age-appropriate yoga poses, stretches, breathing exercises, and movement activities
  • Use games, stories, music, and creative activities to make movement enjoyable
  • Help children develop balance, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness
  • Introduce simple mindfulness, breathing, and relaxation techniques
  • Encourage children to participate, explore movement, and build confidence
  • Adapt activities to different abilities, comfort levels, and developmental needs
  • Create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment
  • Model safe and appropriate movement techniques
  • Provide positive encouragement and celebrate student progress
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
  • Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
  • Arrive prepared, dependable, and ready to engage young learners

You don't need to be a professional yoga teacher or traditional classroom educator. We're looking for someone who can make movement and mindfulness fun, approachable, and engaging for young children.

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • A foundation in yoga, mindful movement, dance, fitness, or a related practice
  • A genuine interest in working with young children
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and an encouraging personality
  • The ability to lead playful, age-appropriate activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort leading groups of young children
  • An understanding of safe movement practices
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to follow provided curriculum while bringing your own creativity

Teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in yoga instruction, dance, fitness, early childhood education, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or mentoring is helpful.

Yoga instructors, yoga teacher trainees, dancers, fitness professionals, early childhood educators, college students, aspiring teachers, and mindful movement enthusiasts are all encouraged to apply.
