Serenity Circle Counseling is currently looking for 2–3 graduate-level interns for Spring 2027, with internships beginning as early as January 1, 2027.

We are looking for students who are interested in gaining meaningful, hands-on clinical experience while serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families in a small community setting.

Internship Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field
• Internship must meet the requirements of the student’s graduate program
• All internship hours must be completed in person at our Isanti location
• Telehealth is not available for internship hours at Serenity Circle Counseling
• Interest in working collaboratively as part of a clinical team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care

We are especially interested in interns who have an interest in working with children and families, play therapy, trauma treatment, or eventually developing skills in EMDR or other trauma-focused approaches.

Serenity Circle Counseling is currently building a larger facility in Isanti to meet the growing need for mental health services in our community. Our expanded space will allow us to welcome additional clinicians and interns while continuing to grow thoughtfully and sustainably.

Employment Opportunities

Our goal is to develop strong clinicians who may also be a good long-term fit for our practice. Employment opportunities may be available following successful completion of the internship, depending on licensure status, performance, practice needs, and available positions.
