Pediatric Integrated Therapist - Pediatric Healthcare Integration

 

 

Salary: Associate Therapist: $70,000 - 84,000

Licensed Therapist: $75,000 - 89,000

$2,500 SIGNING BONUS!!

New hires are typically brought into the role between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range, based on qualifications and experience. Placement above the midpoint is uncommon and generally reserved for internal candidates or individuals with highly specialized experience.

Position Summary

This position is solution-focused, measurement based care, using easy to implement evidence based treatments. In our team environment, the focus is just as much on prevention as it is on treatment, providing services to patients with mild to moderate concerns.You will receive training and support from the experts in the field of Integrated Behavioral Health to integrate into a pediatric primary care clinic. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing brief, evidence-based behavioral interventions including First Approach Skills Training (FAST) from Seattle Children's, CBT, behavioral activation and other treatments as appropriate
  • Coordinating with patient's medical provider and psychiatric consultant
  • Screening, assessment and diagnosing of referred patients
  • Patient education
  • Supporting medication management (as prescribed by medical provider)
  • Participate in weekly case review with psychiatric consultant
  • Track patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry
  • Document patient progress and treatment recommendations in the EHR
  • Facilitate treatment plan changes for patients not improving
  • Work closely with Community Health Workers to facilitate referrals for clinically indicated services inside and outside the organization
  • Develop and support relapse prevention plans with patients who have achieved treatment goals
  • Meet productivity and agency expectations, completing all work in a timely manner
  • Participate as a positive member of the clinical team

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in counseling, social work or a related field
  • Licensed in WA state: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist or Masters-level licensure candidate/trainee (e.g. LMHCA)
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Must be reliable, hard working, and have an excellent work ethic
  • WATCH State Patrol check, National Criminal Background Check, 5 Panel Drug Screen. Position requires the following immunizations: MMR, VZV, Tdap, Hep B, influenza (annually), TB test (annually)

Job Conditions

Currently, all work is via telehealth. Future work will be a combination of telehealth and in person services. This position is for a 1.0 FTE or 40 hours per week.
