DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position plays a key role in assessing, treating, and supporting consumers receiving psychiatric and rehabilitative services. The work contributes to safe, effective care that meets individual needs and enhances quality of life. As a Licensed Psychologist, you will perform the following duties:
- Assessment Expertise: Conduct diagnostic, intellectual, educational, and readiness evaluations using accepted clinical methods
- Therapeutic Support: Provide individual and group psychotherapy using approaches suited to each consumer’s level of functioning
- Program Development: Design and deliver DBT remotivation and cognitive remediation programs in collaboration with other disciplines
- Risk Evaluation: Complete patient risk assessments, crisis plans, and behavioral plans following hospital-approved procedures
- Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams, contribute clinical insight, implement assigned treatment elements, and provide direct care
- Documentation Accuracy: Record assessment results, therapy progress, and treatment recommendations in accordance with hospital and Medicare standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
- You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
