Whizara is looking for compassionate, engaging, and enthusiastic Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) Instructors to lead interactive after-school enrichment classes for K–12 students.

In this role, you'll help students develop essential skills like emotional awareness, communication, teamwork, empathy, problem-solving, and healthy decision-making through fun discussions, games, role-playing activities, and collaborative projects.

Whether you're studying Psychology, Counseling, Education, Child Development, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field, this is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a lasting impact on young learners.

No teaching experience? That's okay! We provide curriculum, lesson plans, activities, and ongoing support—you bring your enthusiasm, empathy, and passion for working with students.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) classes for K–12 students
• Facilitate interactive games, discussions, role-playing activities, and team-building exercises
• Help students build confidence, emotional awareness, empathy, communication, and relationship skills
• Encourage positive social interactions and respectful communication
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued
• Support students in developing problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills
• Adapt activities to different ages, personalities, and learning styles
• Promote positive classroom behavior through encouragement and relationship-building
• Collaborate professionally with school staff and the Whizara team

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, patient, and dependable individuals who enjoy working with children
• Passion for youth development, education, psychology, counseling, or mentoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable leading group activities and encouraging participation
• Positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
• Experience tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, coaching, camp counseling, or working with youth is a plus—but not required
• Students or graduates in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Child Development, Social Work, Sociology, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply
