Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging youth group activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development
• Supervise children and adolescents during program sessions, ensuring safety and positive behavior management
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to diverse needs, including special education considerations when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to develop new program ideas and improve existing activities for maximum participant engagement
• Monitor participant progress and provide encouragement to foster confidence and social skills
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and community partners regarding program updates and participant well-being

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational, camp, childcare or youth program settings
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges positively
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and youth engagement strategies
• Excellent team leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and activity facilitation
