School Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district for a 1-year contract assignment beginning September 6, 2026.
Position Details
- Position: School Occupational Therapist
- Location: School District (covering 5 buildings)
- Schedule: 27 hours per week
- Contract Length: 1 Year
- Start Date: September 6, 2026
- Caseload: Approximately 10 students per day
- Interview Process: In-person interview required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students throughout the district.
- Manage a full caseload across five school buildings.
- Conduct 30-minute therapy sessions with students.
- Complete required documentation during provided paid documentation time.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student goals and IEP objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Student sessions are scheduled in 30-minute increments.
- Additional 30 minutes of paid documentation time is provided.
- A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is offered daily.
- Travel between school buildings is required; travel time is not compensated.
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
