Part time to fulfill school contract(s) with hours limited to daytime M-F.

Full time clinic and/or school.

Creative Development is a premier outpatient facility in the Farmington Valley providing services to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult clients. We are seeking a full-time clinician but will consider part-time candidates. Our services span telehealth and in-person care across the clinic, private schools, and the home and community, including social skills programs, life skills training, intensive summer programs, executive function coaching, sensory integration, peer interventions, in-home care, outpatient services, and adaptive equipment/seating evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant literature and insurance/educational policy to develop clinically appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans
• Write and maintain evaluations and treatment plans that meet requirements for insurance-based service provision
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations addressing fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care/ADLs, and visual-motor skills, executive function and life skills in clinic, school and community settings
• Conduct telehealth visits and services as appropriate
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Plan and implement treatment in clinic, school and community (if applicable)
• Provide parent/caregiver training to support home/community/school programming and generalization of skills
• Advocate alongside parents for children's needs at PPT meetings as requested
• Collaborate with other professionals, both within the clinic and across facilities (Birth to Three, schools, other clinics, etc.), to provide transdisciplinary care
• Utilize EHR systems for caseload management and billing purposes
• Demonstrate understanding of a range of disabilities and developmental delays across ages (birth–26)
• Experience with school-based services, IEPs, and PPTs is a plus, but we're happy to train

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Initial NBCOT certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred; experience with neurodiverse populations, cognitive sensory integration, fine/gross motor development, technology and/or school-based practice a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working with children and families
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
