Game Day Representative

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities):

• Oversee Core 5 Flag Football game day operations including set-up and break down league booth and fields, handle game situations involving coaches, players, parents and officials
  • Able to pick up equipment/trailer as needed to run the event on game days
• Establish relationships with coaches and officials, and fill in as an official as needed
• Required to learn and know league rules
• Prepare official’s scorecards, and meet and greet customers at the field
• Follow all opening and closing procedures with an end of day report
• Communicate with supervisor throughout week, attend weekly Game Day Rep meetings
• Respectfully resolve conflicts and address concerns and questions from customers appropriately
• Regularly attend coaches’ meetings, staff trainings, weekly meetings with supervisor
• Positively represent and promote Core 5 Flag Football to family, friends, and community

What you’ll bring (Minimum Qualifications):

• Must be 21 years of age or older with valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from the event
• Prior experience in a customer service or sports related position (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well in a team atmosphere, and requires minimal supervision and direction
• Passion for enhancing youth sports within your community

More about the role (Additional Position Details):

• Work Schedule: scheduled times may fluctuate based on the league needs for the duration of the 6-7 week season
  • Locations
    • Anthem: 4pm to 10pm Friday, 8am to 3pm Saturday for special events and playoffs 
    • North Peoria (Paloma Park): 4pm to 10pm Friday
    • South Peoria (Cactus High School): 8am to 5pm Saturday or Sunday
• Pay Range: $18 - $25 per hour
• Opportunity to return for following league season and earn seasonal pay increases with good performance
• Training provided by Core 5 Flag, no prior sports industry experience required
