The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is offering a paid, full-time Vision Rehabilitation Therapist Internship in Pittsburgh designed to help you turn your education into meaningful, real-world experience.
You'll learn alongside experienced Vision Rehabilitation Therapists, work directly with customers, and build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to begin a rewarding career helping individuals who are blind or visually impaired live more independently.

Upon successful completion, you'll will be eligible for promotion to Vision Rehabilitation Therapist with a salary increase and eligibility for Commonwealth employee benefits.

- Typical hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday–Friday
- Negotiable work schedule
- Part-time remote work may be available after training
Important!
- You will work face-to-face with your customers. You must live near or be willing to relocate to the Pittsburgh area.
Do You Qualify?
- Current enrollment in the final year of an accredited college or university bachelor’s or master’s degree or certificate program in rehabilitation teaching of the blind or visually impaired, vision rehabilitation therapy, teacher of the visually impaired, or education with a concentration in visual impairment.
Before You Begin
- School authorization required.
- Must be enrolled in the final semester when internship begins.
