About the Role
New Viva MD is looking for a Psychologist to join our growing weight-loss and preventive health practice in Chandler. Since 2019, we've helped patients build healthier lives through personalized, comprehensive, and preventive care. As our Psychologist, you'll support the behavioral and mental health side of patients' weight-loss journeys — helping address the emotional and psychological factors tied to eating habits, body image, and lifestyle change, alongside our clinical team's exams, labs, and treatment plans. Our practice focuses on Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, hormone health, and aesthetics, all delivered with an evidence-based approach that treats every patient as a whole person.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual counseling/therapy to support patients' weight-loss and lifestyle goals
  • Assess and address behavioral and emotional factors related to eating, body image, and motivation
  • Collaborate closely with our NPs, PAs, physicians, and health coaches as part of each patient's care team
  • Develop personalized behavioral strategies to support long-term success

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Active, unrestricted AZ license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience or interest in behavioral health, weight management, or health psychology preferred
  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
