Case Manager III (Full-Time, Evenings) - Bluffside Men's Recovery

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Bluffside Men's Recovery is a new residential treatment program currently under development, offering a unique opportunity to help build and shape the program prior to opening. Team members hired into this position will participate in a comprehensive onboarding and program development period, working collaboratively to establish program operations, culture, and best practices.

The Case Manager III provides 24/7 direct supervision and support within the therapeutic milieu, ensuring client safety, structure, and engagement in recovery-oriented programming. This role supports clinical goals through behavioral coaching, skill reinforcement, and structured daily programming.

Compensation: between $19.74 and 23.54 per hour (wage is determined by total years of relevant experience)

Training Schedule (through program opening in January 2027):

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (required team training and program development)
  • One (1) additional 8-hour shadow shift each week between Friday and Sunday, scheduled based on staff preference

This training period is expected to continue until the program opens in January 2027.

 Post-Opening Schedule (beginning January 2027): Upon program opening, this position will transition to its regular schedule of 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, five evenings per week (40 hours/week).

Applicants should be prepared to commit to both the initial training schedule and the permanent evening schedule as part of this role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in behavioral health/residential care
  • Training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, CPR/First Aid, and de-escalation preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Milieu Supervision & Client Support

  • Provides continuous supervision and support in residential setting.
  • Ensures client safety and adherence to program expectations.
  • Maintains structured, recovery-focused environment.

Behavioral Coaching & Skills Reinforcement

  • Supports treatment plan implementation through real-time coaching.
  • Provides redirection and reinforcement of coping skills.
  • Assists with daily living skills and structured routines.

Group Facilitation (Non-Clinical)

  • Facilitates recovery-oriented and psychoeducational groups such as:
    • Peer support groups
    • Life skills and ADL groups
    • Wellness and recreational activities
    • Recovery skills practice groups

Observation & Documentation

  • Monitors and documents client behavior, engagement, and safety concerns.
  • Completes daily shift documentation, weekly client progress reports, and incident reports.
  • Communication relevant updates to clinical and supervisory staff.

Team Collaboration

  • Works closely with clinical and operational staff to support treatment goals.
  • Provides input regarding client behavior and milieu dynamics.
  • Supports consistency of program expectations across shifts.
  • *Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • * Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • * Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site or designated workspace.
