Licensed Psychologist Manager
THE POSITION
As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections with the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Greene, you will help oversee programs that support mental and emotional well-being. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role manages psychological services and provides leadership to staff who support the mental health needs of individuals in the facility. The work guides evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical operations. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Supervision: Lead psychological staff, review evaluations, and guide diagnostic and therapeutic practices
- Program Development: Oversee the creation and improvement of psychological services programs and related procedures
- Committee Leadership: Participate in or chair clinical committees that support treatment planning and review
- Clinical Oversight: Review test interpretations, ensure accuracy, and evaluate clinical documentation
- Consultation Support: Advise staff on mental health needs, treatment approaches, and unit programming
- Accreditation Compliance: Ensure standards for psychological services are met for audits and accreditation reviews

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.
Special Requirement:
- You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
