New Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Youth Partner to join our High Fidelity Wraparound team. This role is centered on building strong, trusting relationships with youth and supporting them in actively participating in their care, goals, and decision-making process.

The Youth Partner helps ensure that the voice, perspective, and strengths of youth are central to the Child and Family Team (CFT) process. Through authentic engagement and consistent support, you will help youth build confidence, develop skills, and connect to natural supports and community resources.

About the Role

The Youth Partner works directly with children and adolescents to build trust, encourage engagement, and support meaningful participation in Wraparound services. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, patience, and the ability to connect with youth in a respectful, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental manner.

You will help youth feel heard, supported, and empowered as active participants in their own care planning and life goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth served in the HFW program
  • Encourage and support youth voice and participation in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings
  • Help youth identify strengths, goals, and personal aspirations
  • Support youth in developing coping skills, self-advocacy, and problem-solving abilities
  • Assist youth in connecting to community resources, activities, and natural supports
  • Collaborate with HFW Facilitators, Family Specialists, and Parent Partners to support coordinated care
  • Promote hope, resilience, and engagement through consistent, strengths-based interactions
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation as required

Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth in behavioral health, education, mentoring, peer support, or community-based services preferred
  • Strong ability to build rapport and engage youth in meaningful, supportive relationships
  • Understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and youth-centered practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual abilities strongly preferred

Compensation

  • $23–$25 per hour, based on education, experience, and language abilities
