Summer Camp Teacher
Join Our Summer Academic Camp Team!
Nini Art Education Center is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Summer Camp Teachers to teach and support our middle school students (Grades 6–8) during our summer academic enrichment program. We are looking for educators who are passionate about helping students strengthen their academic skills while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Position: Summer Camp Teacher
Student Age Group: Middle School (Grades 6–8)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Employment Type: Seasonal Full-Time
Program Duration: Summer 2026 (July – August)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Teach academic enrichment classes for middle school students
• Support instruction in subjects such as Math, English, Science, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and other academic enrichment subjects as needed.
• Prepare and guide students through daily classroom activities and assignments
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support when needed
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a productive learning environment
• Supervise students during breaks, outdoor activities, and scheduled group activities
• Communicate professionally with staff and parents when necessary
• Assist with classroom organization and daily cleanup
Qualifications:
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or educational experience preferred
• Strong understanding of middle school level academic subjects
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and work patiently with students
• Responsible, organized, and dependable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Education background or college students majoring in Education, Math, Science, English, or related fields preferred
• Bilingual candidates (English/Chinese) are highly encouraged to apply
