Respite Worker- Edgar, WI (BL3)                                                             

Are you a compassionate individual who has previous experience working with children with development disabilities and/or Development Delays? If so, then this is the position for you! 

 

We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite care for a 3-year-old boy. This boy loves Paw Patrol, Swings and Slides, and going to park to play. 

 

Respite will be provided in the child's home. Community Outings are encouraged.

 

WAGE

  • $10.60 per hour (less than 8 hours)
  • $154.48 per day (more than 8 hours)

 

Location: Edgar, WI

 

SCHEDULE

  • 10 hours a week
  • 2 days a month
  • Flexible Schedule to be determined by family.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Supervision and Safety
  • Toileting Assistance/ Potty Training
  • Meal Prep and Feeding Assistance
  • Monitoring for Choking Hazard and Breathing Concerns (Sleep Apnea)
  • Active attentiveness
  • Build confidence/independence
  • Companionship and Social Engagement

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Criminal/Caregiver background check.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred.
  • Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
  • Experience with children with physical disabilities and/or development disability preferred.
