Resident in Counseling

Job Title: Resident in Counseling (LPC-R) / Supervisees in Social Work – Evidence-Based Private Practice (W2)/Resident in Psychology

Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid / Remote Option available via PSYPACT framework)

Supervisor: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)

We are currently seeking driven Residents in Counseling and Supervisees in Social Work who want to build an exceptional clinical foundation rooted in true evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality individual, group, or couples psychotherapy to a diverse caseload.
  • Utilize evidence-based frameworks to formulate targeted, measurable treatment plans.
  • Maintain timely, secure, and compliant electronic clinical documentation.
  • Participate actively in weekly individual and group supervision sessions. 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Approved (or actively in the process of applying) by the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Resident in Counseling, or by the Board of Social Work as a Supervisee.
  • Strong alignment with, or a passionate desire to learn, evidence-based psychotherapies.
  • Excellent ethical judgment, professional boundaries, and communication skills. 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time W2 Employment (Non-exempt).
  • Clinical Rate: $35.00 – $45.00 per billable hour (Scale is determined by post-graduate experience and specific evidence-based modality certifications).
  • Administrative Rate: Virginia Minimum Wage per hour for mandatory staff meetings and specialized data-tracking training.
  • Supervision Value: Fully integrated, individual and group clinical supervision provided remote by a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at no cost to you. 
  • Credential Pipeline: Immediate access to an active, built-in client pipeline using our established commercial insurance panel framework.
