Pay: $25.00 per hour
Supervision for Licensure Hours Provided About the Position
The Centeris seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)to join our behavioral health team. This position offers the opportunity to provide quality mental health services in a supportive clinical environment while receiving supervision toward independent licensure.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, collaborative, culturally responsive, and committed to helping clients achieve meaningful progress in treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with providers, referral sources, and community support as appropriate
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision and consultation
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- License /Certification: ASW, AMFT, APCC Required
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Valid registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload independently under supervision
- Experience with documentation and electronic healthrecords and otherrelevant software

- Prior experience in outpatient, community mental health, healthcare, or school settings preferred
Preferred Areas of Experience
- Anxiety and Depression treatment, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma-informed care
- Individual therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Internal FamilySystems
