Behavior Interventionist - Long Beach

Part-Time Hourly Position：  Behavior Interventionist    
Pay: $25+/hour (depending on experience)     Location: Long Beach，CA

Part-Time Behavior Interventionist (ABA)  

           
⭐ Client Profile:
A bright young boy who benefits from support in the areas of social communication, flexibility, emotional regulation, conversational reciprocity, adaptive living skills, and peer interaction. The client benefits from structured support to improve conversation balance, task participation, perspective taking and independence.

⭐ Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community settings
• Support social communication and reciprocal conversation skills
• Help the client improve flexibility, transitions, and participation in non-preferred tasks
• Teach coping skills, self-management strategies, and the use of visual schedules/calendars
• Support peer interaction and group participation
• Implement behavior intervention programs developed by BCBA
• Collect session data and complete brief session notes
• Maintain positive rapport, effective communication with the team

⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with school-age children or teens with autism
• Background in Psychology, Education, Child Development, Speech, or related fields preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• RBT certification is a plus but not required
• Reliable transportation required
