About Us
The mission of the Clark County Food Bank is to "alleviate hunger and its root causes." The Food+ Program recognizes that ending hunger requires more than just distributing food. Food insecurity is deeply connected to other challenges. Unstable housing, unemployment, healthcare access, and a lack of education or financial tools all play a part. Food+ programs work alongside our food distribution efforts to address these root causes. We offer services in: Nutrition Education, Financial Empowerment, Resource Navigation, and Workforce Development. Food+ advances our vision of a healthier, more self-sufficient community. The member will support multiple aspects of our food recovery and distribution efforts. This position requires flexibility to serve after 5 pm and on occasional weekends. Members will receive mentorship from experienced professional staff. We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in mid-May.
