Division/Program: Los Angeles: USC Crisis Residential Treatment (CS)

Starting Compensation: 100.000 - 105.000 USD Per Year

Working Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033

Working Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 9 am-5:30 pm

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications): 

  • Master's degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university 
  • Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults, and 
  • Two (2) years supervising direct care staff, in a health care setting preferred. 
  • California BBS licensed as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D required. 
  • Two (2) years LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D post-licensure preferred. 
  • Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy. 
  • CPR certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross or obtain certification within 90 days of employment. 

How you will make a difference (job overview): 

This position conducts oversight of the programming and service delivery; conducts staff supervision; acts as a resource for therapists in the delivery of therapeutic services; performs diagnostic evaluations; and develops treatment plans. Supports data collection and CQI efforts; maintains liaison with the County. The Clinical Supervisor shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 

 

Division/Program Overview: 

  • 16-bed facilities 
  • Designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment. 
  • 24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization. 
  • Individuals can live on-site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to receive physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services, in addition to assistance locating permanent housing.
