Registered Behavior Technician
Mindful Play ABA is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth, and we are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality, play-based ABA therapy within a collaborative, clinic-based environment.
This role is ideal for certified RBTs looking to deepen their clinical skills while contributing to a growing team. While we prioritize active RBT certification, we may consider candidates with strong relevant experience in psychology, education, or ABA who are prepared to quickly obtain and maintain RBT certification.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide ABA Therapy: Deliver 1:1, play-based ABA therapy to children and adolescents in a clinic setting
- Skill Development: Implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication, social, and daily living skills
- Behavior Support: Support behavior reduction using evidence-based ABA strategies
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record session data using clinical software
- Collaborate with BCBAs: Work closely with supervising BCBAs to support client progress and treatment integrity
- Family Impact: Maintain consistency and professionalism to support positive outcomes for families
- Team Contribution: Contribute to a positive clinic culture during a period of growth
Qualifications
- Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred
- Candidates without certification must be willing and able to obtain RBT certification within 30-60 days.
- Experience: Previous experience as an RBT strongly preferred
- Experience in ABA therapy, psychology, education, or working with children is highly valued
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Mindset: Adaptable, growth-oriented, and committed to clinical excellence
- Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to engage in play-based sessions (standing, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lbs, active movement)
