NOW HIRING: Summer Enrichment Specialist

Canton | Alliance | Plain Township

Summer 2026 | 15-20 hrs per week | June 1- August 7th, 2026

 

$17.00 per hour

 

Make a difference this summer! The YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking Summer Enrichment Specialists to lead fun, small-groups focused on literacy (ELA) and social-emotional learning (SEL) in our summer day camp programs.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Use engaging curriculum to create and lead hands-on learning experiences
  • Build supportive relationships with students
  • Help combat learning loss & boost mental wellness
  • Work alongside a caring, mission-driven team

 

Ideal For: Teachers, youth workers, education majors, or anyone passionate about empowering young people!

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with youth
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
  • Creativity, flexibility,
  • High School Diploma - advanced degree or progress towards an advanced degree preferred
  • Must pass background check, obtain a medical form and & complete Y training
