Summary
This position is assigned to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Washington, DC or Millington, TN; Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Programs (N9); Family Readiness Division. Incumbent is responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and accountability for the full range of responsibilities associated with the Navy's Family Advocacy Program, including policy development, program evaluation, and collaboration with installation-level FAP staff.

A qualified candidate possesses the following:
Education
0101 Series:
A four (4) year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. or Four (4) years of appropriate experience that demonstrates acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. or A combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
0180 Series:
A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology
OR
0185 Series:
Amaster's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
AND
The incumbent shall be Tier III qualified as outlined in Navy FFSP Credentials Review and Clinical Privileging requirements. These include:
AND
A licensure/certification by a state or U.S. territory that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology. (Must provide licensure number)
AND
Two (2) years, full-time clinical experience post independent licensure or certification.
Note: Your degree must be from an accredited college recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

If selected, relocation to the local commuting area (50-mile radius) is required. Must be willing to relocate to reside within the local commuting area (50-mile radius) of one of the following bases: Washington Navy Yard, Naval Support Activity Mid-South or Naval Station Norfolk.
Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
