for our adult client (with Intellectual and Developmental Disability)

Mondays - Fridays
11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
*Some flexibility on start and end time (for example, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Requirements
• Must have some professional or personal experience assisting or supporting individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities or other special needs
• Female staff required for female client (for religious reasons)
• Must be a licensed driver (for a minimum of three years)
• Must have an insured vehicle (with your name listed as an authorized driver)
• Must be willing to drive female, adult client on a daily basis in the Pico-Robertson Area and surrounding community
• We are seeking staff who is friendly, even-keeled, trustworthy, reliable, calming, and especially confident with their cooking skills.
Description
Our client likes to play basketball and tennis. She loves to sing and dance. Staff will support client in achieving greater independence, including growing cooking skills, cleaning, doing laundry, budgeting, etc. You will also work with client in exploring schooling and volunteer opportunities in the area, learning how to navigate public transit in the area, and expanding on engagement in social activities.
Paid Training is provided in person at ETTA headquarters in North Hollywood.
You must be available weekdays / daytime hours for approximately 3-7 days of training)
