Forged Athletic is a faith-driven, high-growth startup. This is a 100% commission-based, 1099 Independent Contractor role. We are looking for "Hunters" who live for the discipline of the pool and want to build the premier scout network in amateur and collegiate water sports.

The Mission

You are the "Eyes and Ears" of Forged Athletic on the pool deck. Your mission is to identify the top 1% of prospects in the Swimming and Watersports communities who embody the "Iron Sharpens Iron" philosophy. You will work directly with our Director of Operations and our Design Team to ensure Forged remains the most relevant, gritty, and purpose-driven brand in the water.

Who You Will Work With

Director of Swim/Water Sports Operations: Your direct lead for athlete vetting, strategy, and vertical operations.

Swim/Water Sports Design Team: You will provide real-time feedback on gear trends (parkas, deck wear, training suits, caps) to help shape our sport-specific apparel drops.

The Forged Scout Network: Collaborating with other scouts to establish a national brand presence at major meets and tournaments.

Your Core Duties

The Recruit: Identify and onboard elite aquatic prospects (High School, Collegiate, Club) into the Forged Scout Program.

Design Liaison: Act as a bridge between the pool deck and the studio. You report on what athletes are wearing during warm-ups and what technical "looks" are missing from the water sports market.

Vetting & Evaluation: Research athlete visibility and character to ensure they align with Forged Athletic’s Christian foundation and values.

Affiliate Activation: Guide athletes through onboarding and ensure they are successfully representing the brand through their unique affiliate codes.

Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of aquatic culture; identify rising programs and "must-have" deck gear before it goes mainstream.

Who This Role Is For

The Aquatic Insider: You are a current or former swimmer, water polo player, or coach with a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.

The Trend Spotter: You understand the unique aesthetic of "deck culture" and the balance between performance and lifestyle gear.

The Mission-Aligned: You respect our Christian foundation and believe that the discipline of the pool is a form of worship.

Who This Role Is Not For

This is not a passive role. If you aren't comfortable initiating conversations with athletes or collaborating with designers to push the brand forward, this isn't the right fit.

Compensation

10% Personal Commission: Earned on all direct sales generated through your personal Scout affiliate link.

5% Network Override: Earned on all sales generated by the athletes you successfully recruit and onboard into the Forged Scout Network.
