Job description
Part Time Recreation Gymnastics Coach
Classes range from ages 18 months old to 18 years old. Classes are 30 minutes to 90 minutes in length. Class sizes are 6-8 athletes per coach.
Responsibilities:
- Coach ages 18 months old to 18 years old body awareness, balance, flexibility and tumbling skills.
- Create a positive and meaningful experience for all athletes.
- Follow class lesson plan and skill progressions.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly set up, maintained and returned to the proper storage area at the completion of class.
- Follow facility health and safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the USAG code of ethics and conduct for coaches.
Qualifications
- Must be available evenings and weekends.
- Must be self motivated with the ability to engage with ages 18 months to 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage a group effectively.
- Outgoing and energetic personality.
- Previous gymnastics or cheerleading experience not required but strongly preferred
Pay dependent on level of experience.
